You will design and perform quality assurance testing for disaster and hunger relief supply chain solutions on a regional and global scale. You will be expected to provide leadership in the development and adoption of Quality Assurance policies and procedures for the organization. Additionally, you will supervise and lead others (including interns) in performing Quality Assurance tasks and activities.

  • Had you been with us last month, this is what you would have accomplished:

  • Developed testing scripts for over five Supply Chain Management products

  • Managed three interns to follow the test scripts that you developed

  • Identified defects and provided feedback to the product managers

  • Identified enhancements and provided them to our sophisticated online user voice application to be considered and voted on by customers and employees

  • Completed a full life-cycle of application functional and regression testing

  • Attended team meetings to discuss process improvements

  • Created User training documents to support the five releases you had

  • Developed product release notes and distributed them within our collaboration system

  • Enjoyed congratulations from co-workers when the company receives public praise because of the support you gave

  • Took a break from development and support to pair program on innovation projects and training endeavors

  • Went to bed feeling so good that people around the world are being fed and housed because of your work – Can it get any better than this?

  • EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Candidate must have 1-2 years experience in overall systems testing and quality assurance (preferably supply chain related).

  • Candidate must have a Bachelors degree from an Accredited University – preferably with a Major in Computer Science, MIS, or Supply Chain.

  • REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate should have experience designing and conducting Quality Assurance testing, business systems including testing of new functions and capabilities, as well as regression testing of existing systems capabilities.

  • Experience with QA and stress testing of multi-tenant SAAS based systems is a plus.

  • Candidate should have experience with one or more formal SDLC methodologies.

  • Candidate must be able to be both a strong individual contributor who can design and implement Quality Assurance solutions and an effective team leader who mentors and advises less-experienced team members.

  • Candidate is expected to investigate and recommend improvements to our Quality Assurance policies and procedures and techniques.

  • Candidate is expected to interact professionally with upper management and external customers.

  • Candidate must be able to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, while communicating details of the project's status with the team.

  • Candidate must have a strong desire to deliver a social mission and help Aidmatrix make organizations around the world more efficient.

  • Candidate must have the ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once.
  • Candidate must have the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

  • English Language Proficiency is required (oral and written); Other Language proficiency,verbally and written, is desired but not required.

  • Candidate must have experience with Quality Assurance Tools. Familiarity with Six Sigma and Quality concepts and formal Project Management methodologies is a plus.

  • Understanding of Supply Chain Solutions is a plus.

  • Position is based in Irving, TX.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Scope, design, and implement Quality Assurance activities for supply chain solutions within approved budgets and schedules.

  • Recommend and utilize standardized Quality Assurance methodologies and procedures across projects.

  • Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction with the Quality Assurance of each assigned project.

  • Provide regular reports on individual and team status of projects and key objectives to management.

  • Manage the formal project plan for the activities of the project you are directly delivering and/or leading.

  • Monitor the project from design through delivery.

  • Mentor less experienced members of the delivery team.

  • Provide supervision of assigned resources (interns, etc.).

  • Document, refine and follow department level practices.
