Recently I was in Johannesburg working with the Global FoodBanking Network on creating a nation-wide food network for South Africa. There I learned first hand how school attendance and performance improve dramatically when children have a nourishing breakfast.
I am continually overwhelmed by the scope of needs, hunger, medical and disaster, which communities face and I am committed to applying my supply chain and IT background to help agencies, organizations and individuals achieve their missions of improving the lives of folks who desperately need our support.
From the moment I heard the announcement about the formation and mission of Aidmatrix in October 2000, I knew that I had to be a part of it. It is deeply rewarding to find the right donors and sponsors and link them to the right projects. Together we really can change the world.
